Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Illidallion is not the dragon anyone wants to meet in the dark. While he is a prime specimen of his breed, this great silver has a bit of an attitude. He is easy to annoy and he has no issue with letting the pest know his feelings. He tries to keep calm in most situations, he really does, but that's like trying to stop a fire with a blanket. Usually it doesn't work. He's been in his share of fights and has the scars to prove it, though most of the fights are him trying to break up inter-cave disputes before Furiku notices and has to do it herself.

His mate is about the only one who can convince him to calm down, simply because she means a lot to him. She cared enough to actually get to know him rather than be scared off by his angry words when they first met. In fact she had laughed at him, finding him funny rather then frightening. He spends what time with her that he can, though it's something of a challenge, considering Furiku is coated in magma and he hates the heat.
