Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Earthfoot is one of the strongest dragons, magically speaking, in all of Gaira.  She is able to sink any land-bound enemies immediately into the ground, and can shoot down any flying ones with the rapid barrages of pebbles she shoots to slice through their wings.  One of the most important dragons in the clan, many were surprised when she took Mossrock as a mate.  However, another one of Earthfoot's strengths is being unpredictable.

     Gaira is one of the most common, but still important, distinctions in the Nightgaze clan.  It first included only earth dragons, but then extended to geode and stone dragons as well.  Most dragons of Gaira are incredibly strong fighters, and are often at the front lines of clan battles.  They can take a lot of damage, and can raise stone walls in protection, as well as being able to hurl large rocks at enemies.
