Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Groundwing is known for her unique style of attacks: sneak attacks.  She burrows into the ground in such a way that only her eyes are above the surface.  Groundwing, being an earth dragon, is able to bend the rock around her with only minor disturbances, as if she were swimming.  She uses this method of attack for prey, enemies, and anyone she just doesn't like.

    Gaira is one of the most common, but still important, distinctions in the Nightgaze clan.  It first included only earth dragons, but then extended to geode and stone dragons as well.  Most dragons of Gaira are incredibly strong fighters, and are often at the front lines of clan battles.  They can take a lot of damage, and can raise stone walls in protection, as well as being able to hurl large rocks at enemies.
