Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Field is pretty territorial for a Stripe. Like his father, he believes in defending the sacred home they have at all costs, though, unlike his father, Field is quite a bit more aggressive about it. Any intruders he comes across, he will chase down and run out of the territory. Not that he can really do too much aside from that, his speed is pretty much all he has, so he's forced to rely on looking and sounding big to make up for his lack of raw power. Luckily, if he is ever in real danger, his father, Tea, will be there to rescue him, begrudgingly at times with how much trouble he tends to cause. Field loves his family more than anything else, and his paranoia over protecting them leads to him being defensive and distrustful around strangers. Even Tea's good friend, Desert the Stone Dragon, is frowned upon by Field, though even he isn't reckless and stupid enough to try going after a titan like him. Field at least knows a fight he can't win when he sees it, though he can notice late.
