Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
Sweet Sonnet comes across as an over-achiever. She mainly spends time learning how to write poetry with her father Zachri and healing magic with her mother Lauta. She's pretty good, but she says she could be better. Between those lessons, she'll find any adult in The Flight who has a passion and try to learn everything from them. If she can't accomplish something, her only response is to try harder. Some find it silly for one dragon to learn to do so many skills when one would suffice, but a part of her thinks that one of these days, she's going to find that there's a healing spell that can only be cast in the form of a triolet, and she'll be the one to use it.
At the moment, Sweet Sonnet is learning embroidery from Master Seraphim. Using the needles telekinetically is hard for her, but she knows she'll manage. The two are actually growing pretty close: she likes how hard he can be with her since it encourages her to work harder, and he likes that she sees his criticism that way.
