Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Even compared to other warrior dragons, the sheer force and raw fury of Kaotes in battle—despite less-than-exceptional strategy—make her an intimidating foe to confront. More than once, she has proved herself capable of flattening and driving away her opponents before they were even aware they were supposed to be fighting her.<br/>Kaotes' prowess attracts prospective male suitors to her cave in droves. All of them invariably leave disappointed. In some circles, the approval of Kaotes has become a kind of holy grail; the story goes that she will only allow herself to be courted by one whose combat skills Kaotes considers as impressive as her own. For years, hopeful young dragons have dedicated their hearts and sometimes lives to this pursuit. So far, none have succeeded—Kaotes remains elusive, preferring to spend her time with her female clanmates and rarely even acknowledging the males who visit her these days.
