Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sugurain identifies as more of a prankster. When she was little, she liked persuading other hatchlings to pester older dragons, with entertaining results either way. As she grew, she went through certain stages—screeching loudly when anyone mentioned the word "and", posing as the opposite gender in front of strangers and pretending to tell increasingly bizarre fortunes were just a few of these.
Her current phase involves feigning altruism, caring for the local young and protecting nests when there are few guardian dragons in the area. To heighten the irony, she does it all in an entirely deadpan way and never breaks character, not even to snicker.
When she began this, her friends failed to understand the joke and assumed Sugurain's personality shift was for real; other, genuine altruists quickly accepted her into the community, unaware that she was mocking them. Sugurain considers both groups disappointing, and insists on continuing the gag until someone else finally gets it.
