Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Xiaodan is the third son born to Xiaowen and Kousa, and the first of their children to be born a Sunrise instead of a Sunset. For this reason, his mother chose to name him "Little Dawn" in Chinese. Unlike his brothers, who mostly prefer solitude, Xiaodan is a very social dragon. He loves basking in the sunlight with a large group of friends, chatting about anything that comes to mind. More than any other creature though, Xiaodan cherishes the company of his mate, Mujaki. They were set up by Mujaki's older sisters Kissui and Muzai, who are mated to Xiaodan's older brothers. The girls thought that Xiaodan and Mujaki would make a cute couple, and that it would be hilarious if the two families continued to merge into one. So, Kissui and Muzai brought Mujaki with them to a gathering that they knew Xiaodan would be attending. Sure enough, sparks flew. The two began courting soon after, and on a beautiful spring morning, became mates for all eternity. They are so in love, and always will be.
