Pargulus Pygmies can often be found tending to plants and foraging for food. They like to care for other living things, be it plant or animal, and will often leave the food from their foraging trips outside the dens of those who need it or even just those they think could use a treat. These colorful little dragons are especially attentive to anyone who might be struggling to find food themselves, such as the elderly, the sick, or the very young. Pargulus pygmies have a surprisingly large range considering their small size. They have been known to travel far and wide to find food to bring back to their friends.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Yellow's parents are well-traveled, and she inherited their love for learning about new places. She is especially interested in learning languages. With her ability to think quickly and read social situations, she's trained to be a translator, and she has a lot of success translating in real time. During a diplomatic meeting or other arranged talk between speakers who don't understand each other, a discussant says something, and she translates for her client with a few seconds' lag time. Yellow has to eat a big meal afterward to make up for the energy cost of the task. It's challenging, and mistakes can have dire consequences, but she finds fulfillment in it, and she can travel and meet different people and eat different foods. This isn't a job that brings a lot of press, so Yellow is relatively unknown to dragons and humans alike, but she's coming into fame by working for some well-known figures. When doing a job for sizable clients, she looks like a ball of green and yellow earwax.
