Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There's a low roar and a chilly wind: it's a dragon! Some townspeople flee; others prepare their spells and bows. The fiend makes its way towards a pasture as the humans shoot. Every arrow and blast miss the target, and they hurriedly reload. It dives, talons open, at an old cow... and grabs air. It attempts another swoop at a different cow—miss again. Finally, one of the townsfolk hits it with a bolt-strike, and the injured dragon tumbles onto the grass. Humans approach, blades drawn. For some reason, it turns on its back—his back—with a quaking thump. "THIS IS SOOO HAARRD!" he wails, limbs flailing. The people stare, bewildered. "JUST ONE COW! AH. SO HUNGRY. AND NOW I'LL DIE." His belly roars. After a minute of blubbering, the humans silently agree he's pathetic and sheathe their swords. One rancher takes pity and wheels out a tub of dried beef, gently patting the dragon's head as he wolfs his food. As he lumbers away, they all wonder if he'd survive another month on his own.
