Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pyropearion Mystal BlazeHope (Clan Mystal) was born into the clan cave as the 53rd clan member, with an amazing and rather unexpected parentage. While his mother, Pyropezues, represents a powerful, and aggressive, element within the clan, his father, Lepidolithum epitomizes its strength and unending hope. The Clan Mother and all the clan elders were more than a little surprised when Pyropearion's egg appeared, considering how rarely his father is present. As for Pyropearion, he has a calm and level headed soul, and finds violence more than a touch distasteful. He is not as much a full-fledged member of The Red Claw as he is callable resource during times of trouble. Instead, he serves as an intermediary influence, calming the often raging tempers of his species brethren, and helping the other clan dragons understand their behaviors. His hope and primary mission in life seems to be the unification of dreams into reality, or at the very least, a lessening of the gap between them.
