Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts spring weather.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
The daughter of a silent warrior and a quiet cloud-watcher, Centifolia comes across as so silent as to be mute. She can speak, but she doesn't see much point in it—she likes the quiet more than anything else. For a hatchling, she's slightly unnerving if one's trying to talk to her, but if someone wants to play, she's just like any happy young dragon. She's perfectly content by herself, though, and spends a lot of time frolicking in whatever flowery field she can find.
Her silence means it's hard for her to make real friends among the older dragons, though the ones her age tend to be a bit more accommodating. She's become surprisingly close to the stern hatchling Caligosa by means of a quiet patience like that of her parents. The two hatchlings can be seen playing together, with laughter as the only sound they make.
