Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name is Light in the Darkness of Destruction, though many just refer to her as Light in the Darkness due to length. She is a somewhat sweet, young Ice dragon, and she spends much of her time with another Ice dragon, Barely Coping. He is her mate, and has some mental issues, but Light in the Darkness isn't bothered by it and continues to love and tend to him. However, she isn't quite as sweet as she seems. Her mate is required to stay within his cave most of the time, leaving her free to do as she wishes when she is outside. She has been known to spend time with quite a variety of male dragons, unknown to Barely Coping. While this isn't unnatural, it is somewhat frowned upon due to the very large number of lifetime couples among her cave's dragons, especially considering Barely Coping is uninformed. She still loves him with all of her heart... of course, this could be applied to the unstable Ice as well as several other dragons.
