Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Truffle Rose loves the smell of truffles more than that of flowers—and keeps some in main her living quarters in the India Isle Lake area to add a nice aroma to the cave. Right outside the cave mouth is a large pen where she keeps pigs, all trained to dig up truffles. During the winter months when they cannot hunt for truffles, they become couriers of a sort. Anyone can hire Truffle Rose to pass along gifts, typically to romantic partners, and Truffle Rose directs one of her swine to do the job. Denizens all around like and respect the rosebuds, so neither Truffle Rose nor her animals are usually in any danger; there have been no instances of any of them getting hurt or killed while delivering gifts. In February, folks know there's a surprise from their mate or an interested dragon when a Valen-swine turns up at their home.
