Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Solnyshka is one of the many children of Xiaowen and Kousa. Her name means "Little Sun" in Russian. She is a feisty dragoness, and has never cared about what others think of her. She's always been a bit of a tomboy, and loves to roughhouse. She also enjoys more feminine activities though, like singing and dancing. She always tries to live life to its fullest, and tries to encourage others to do the same. She is mated to Glupyy Volk, a handsome and fun loving Purple male. Solnyshka just loves his laugh, it's so energetic and full of life, it's the kind of laugh that just can't be faked. He's also got this really cute lopsided grin that just melts her heart. They've been friends ever since they were hatchlings, and everyone just knew that they'd become mates one day. They make a really cute couple, and just love each other to pieces. They're soul mates, and look forward to spending their eternal lives together.
