Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Toranin (in ancient draconic, her name means "swift wind") is an extremely skilled flier, even among gray dragons.  This is because her mate, Nimbocu, teaches her all the skills of skywing dragons, the only creatures that are better fliers than grays.  However, her love of flight has caused Toranin to hate land and everything grounded to it.  She has mastered the practice of swiping prey of the ground without even landing, and sleeps far less than most dragons to minimize the time she must be on land.

Toranin is the leader of the winged dragon usurpers.  Although the name 'winged dragons' is misleading, as many dragons with wings are pro-mint (and one anti-mint dragon, Fovocull, is wingless), the term reflects Toranin's fiendish desire to wipe out all who cannot fly.  Although there are more in the mint defence, Toranin is convinced that the winged dragons are stronger, and will therefore win the war.
