Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Atornu (her name means "quick wind" in ancient draconic) loves performing complex aerial maneuvers.  She sometimes (actually, often) forgets which way is up and which way is down.  This led to many crashes as a hatchling, but now Atornu is a master of flight.  She seems to also have inherited some abilities from her mother, Toranin, a gray dragon. Atornu is able to bend the air currents directly around her wings so that anyone watching her could swear gravity didn't exist.  However, Atornu's powers are very limited, and she can't control any air more than a meter away from her.

As the winged dragon leader's firstborn daughter, Atornu is a strong supporter of the anti-mints.  She has inadvertently absorbed many of Toranin's ideals of winged dragon superiority.  She has promised to be at the front of the battle, and be able to confuse the enemy with maneuvers that no other could match.
