Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. But... where are its legs?

And look! It has gotten bigger and is now able to use magic. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Timekeeping is a bright young dragon, able to grasp the basics of any tool or concept after listening to someone explain it to him for a bit, and he'll often invent more applications for that thing in short order. The adults decided that he'd make a great teacher to the other kiddies, but he proved them wrong: he understands things easily but is no good at explaining them to others in a clear manner. The steps he lays out are insufficiently explained and usually ambiguous at best. If one were to number the steps, they would go: step 1, step 5, step 3, optional step 4, step 9, remember step 4, step 11, step 15, done! it doesn't help that he's a wyrm, so when a task calls for physically handling something, be it pushing, folding, pinching, carrying, slotting one part into another, etc., he simply says, "Do it with magic" and expects his peers to follow suit.
