Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Ke’maro are a vicious, opportunistic variety of Xenowyrm. They hunt down any prey they see, trapping them with their coils and the soft, fleshy tentacles they keep stored under their skin. Their terrifying appearance and toxic saliva along with their method of hunting and trapping prey has lead to many legends and stories that warn against traveling alone in the vast volcanic wastelands they call home.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There's a particular group of dragons in the quasi-district east of Horn Crest who all claim to know this newcomer they call "Ex-ham". They say that a shank was torn off the corpse of a great big beast that's not a pig but has enough porcine traits to be called such for convenience. The death-imbued Shear-in-Turn was used to pull the strands of muscle in the shank, and the whole thing became a dragon. The reason there's no Shear and no pig remains is that the dragon ate them as soon as the transformation was complete. Nearly everyone in Horn Crest thinks this tale is bunk, but it's not out of the realm of possibility, either. The brave individuals who ventured into the Horn Crest Dump to chat with Ex-ham reported that he's nice when he isn't hungry, he has no strong feelings about being called "Ex-ham", and he's a terse talker who doesn't like answering personal questions. When asked about where he's from, he always says he was "in a place with a lot of screaming, and now it's quiet".
