Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Wrapperer is an actor, and his favorite plays to work on are adaptations. Among the classics are stories featuring a detective, Holmes, and his biographer, Watson. Every month or so, the Prism Theater shows a different play about the duo, and Wrapperer always played Watson while his good friend Deoc played Holmes. Both enjoy their roles and find getting into character easy, and they've done this for forty seasons. That's why it came as a surprise to the theater staff one season when Wrapperer requested he and Deoc swap parts—Wrapperer as Holmes and Deoc as Watson—for the Christmas run, a time when audience numbers usually spike. Everyone trusted the actors and were willing to take this risk. The next day, the chief held an announcement event in the lobby, during which Wrapperer talked about his decision. "I have long thought about switching my role, and I am thankful Deoc and the great staff here are so supportive," he said to the people gathered. "I'll be Holmes for Christmas."
