Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like his mother, Spectra is a common presence at galas and balls among the nobility, although he does not share her love for dance. It is not that Spectra does not have the skill to dance, but that he finds no joy in it, dancing stiffly with a lack of emotion, and although his moves may be perfect, his face will show no more feelings than one would see in a slab of stone. He has little to no interest in those who will flirt with him, being content in his solitude, and finding the idle conversation nothing more than an annoyance. Spectra longs for more intelligent conversation, and will frequently find himself researching in the library into the late hours of the night, and plans to one day make his grand entrances into politics by becoming the leader of the Gemini Clan. So in-between planning his leadership and half-heartedly forming allies for later on, Spectra awaits his future eagerly. But there is still a long way to go, and a lot of time left before his time comes.
