Spinel Wyverns are small, sleek dragons that zealously collect spinel gemstones to line their nests. They are very affectionate with those they bond with, and will happily spend hours grooming a dragon of a different species if allowed to. Spinels are well-known for their even temperament, but when offended, they are very slow to forgive and will never forget. These wyverns will readily perform tasks in exchange for spinels, and occasionally other stones. Occasionally, they can be born with iridescent pale green scales instead of the usual rich red-violet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

I Wouldn't Trade Christmas lives either in a human-populated town or adjacent to it, depending on whether one asks Land Development or the Budget Office. He recognizes the social norms regarding the clothes people can and should wear... and ignores them. Hah! He's no human. He's got none of their dress standards. He wears fruit. Everyone knows that Trade's fruit collection is better guarded than his spinels because various animals like to eat the fruit. Whatever fruits look and smell good to him are fair game for clothing or accessories, and he saves them until he can make something. While items like the medlar cape, berry beard, and melon rind epaulette have gotten raised eyebrows at most, the fig bands and fruit bonnet did catch on with the nobility some years ago. Though Trade usually invents new fruit styles for different occasions, some ensembles don't change much and only have spoiled pieces replaced, like his morning fruit, leisure fruit, three-piece fruit, and birthday fruit.
