Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Meat Juice has the best name ever, because he's named after his favorite snack. He might as well be a vampire, except his food is dead. During his free time, which he has a lot of, he likes nothing more than to play Get the Ball in the Other Team's Goal by Mostly Kicking It Game with other mountain dragons. It's hard to find a flat place as a field, so they challenge themselves by playing on a mountainside.
