Kingcrownes are a mysterious and proud species, possessing some of the most beautiful and reflective scales of all dragons. Despite this, what is sought after most is not their scales, but the silk-like hairs that grow along their head, neck, and elbows. The hairs themselves have a magical shine, and are thought to have powerful healing properties when used in potions. The hairs of a Kingcrowne are even believed to bring good fortune to those who possess them. Though it is obvious that these dragons possess magical abilities, it is still not entirely clear what they are fully capable of. Most of a Kingcrowne’s time is spent grooming itself, keeping its scales and fur in top condition.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Unlike most dragons, Glory likes milk, and he keeps boxes and urns of the stuff deep in his cave. Fortunately for him, he's fond of sour, solid milk, so he need not waste mana to preserve it and simply leaves the containers alone for a while. Years ago, Glory first decided to just swoop into any farm and get milk directly from whatever mammals were in sight, since he refused to stoop to begging from humans. It was a great idea in his mind, but in practice, nothing worked the way he wanted. As nonthreatening as he tried to be, the animals didn't like him pursuing them and putting his hands all over them trying to find their milk spout. The cats and human objected most to this squeezing and feeling around, and Glory was nearly slain for his troubles. He now has a trading system set up to obtain his dairy fix, involving much paperwork and yanked-out hair. He's never learned to milk livestock, and the humans in fact discourage that after word of his failed attempt spread around the county.
