Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Thanks to some extremely embarrassing events in her hatchling days, Korinku has developed rather intense social anxiety. Though she does like meeting with friends and family, she's always wary of strangers being potentially judgmental or dangerous or just plain mean. Normally this wouldn't be an issue since Korinku could always just leave an uncomfortable situation, but she's found that she can't control the sparks her body generates when she's on edge and that makes graceful getaways more difficult. Until she's able to better hold her poise when flustered, Korinku simply keeps a pouch of mana crystal powder on hand at all times, so she can cast a quick invisibility spell if she wants out of an awkward conversation. Thus far she hasn't needed to make such an escape yet; just having the option for a speedy disappearance is reassuring enough.
