Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

If Contreras sits in one place and thinks for too long, he becomes delusional. No one can read his mind, but when left to his own devices without something to keep him busy, even a thought about what to eat or when to go outside, he looks blank for a while before gradually becoming more wild-eyed, baring his teeth, and nodding and waving side-to-side. He says a lot of things while in this state, some coherent and some not. Sometimes the coherent stuff coming from Contreras's mind or mouth is actually helpful: magical formulas and such, but other times, they're too complicated to understand. He's recently been assigned an attendant to write this stuff down in case he's in the middle of a revelation. Some dragons say this is how boredom manifests, so they've suggested keeping a lineup of chores for him whenever he needs something to do. He likes chores.
