Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Benedetti and the majority of his clan members have been away from home for an indefinite amount of time, traveling and taking care of political business in the region. His lovely partner, the least interested in governing and legislative matters, remains at home, tasked with land-sitting. The family has made more stops than Benedetti can count now, though his favorite will always be The Strand of Hair, a reasonably populated yet little-known seaside town. He even invented a couple of excuses (safety inspection, unscheduled tour with a delegate) to stick around longer. He hopes they can all go home soon to see familiar sights and get some rest, though what he really would like to do is go to a beach with his wife.
