A nocturnal, forest-dwelling breed that prefers clouded moonlit nights, Ouhou Wyverns are a difficult breed to spot in the near darkness. Their soft gray belly feathers help them blend into the sky above, and their wing feathers are shaped so as to allow them to fly almost silently through the air. Most often, the first sign of their presence is a fainting itching between the shoulder blades or prickling of the spine, as though one is being watched. Then a small whimpering cry begins to echo from the nearby trees, luring unwary travelers from the path with the sounds of an infant in distress. Those who follow these wails may search for hours, finding nothing, until the sounds fade away and the traveler finds themselves back on the path they had left. What happens to those who do not show such compassion is difficult to say, for they are often never heard from again.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Known to most townsfolk as an easygoing bum who disappears when there's trouble, Winnin's favorite thing to do seems to be reclining atop the Arthen Moray Many-Eaves Building, otherwise known as town hall. Although her behavior seems unbecoming, people are just glad she doesn't have a twisted moral code and doesn't kidnap travelers. Some have claimed that she isn't just a loafer who spends hours doing nothing but is actually covertly protecting the community from... evil beings and disasters and whatnot. There have been no more fistfights during town hall meetings and no more animal attacks from beyond the borders since she invited herself here, so it doesn't seem like an absurd idea.
