Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Cereborne was from a vicious family, where hatchlings were driven off as soon as they broke their shell if they didn't bear a rare color sport—vibrant yellow on an undine or a yellowish green of a vine. He learned to hunt on his own, chewing his way through whatever he could get. He convinced himself that he didn't need anyone else and held fast to this belief until he met another dragon who—like him—was abandoned because of her scales. Fairy-Thunder was desperate for food and Cere couldn't defend himself against larger dragons. The two came together late in their youths and once mature they became mates. They found a territory to call their own in the southeastern corner of the Sunbeam Woods, where the forested cliffs fall away into the Southern Ocean.

Though Cere isn't good at digging himself under, he has found it to help him hunt. He brings much of the meat back to his mate, who in return defends him from anything that puts up a fight. He loves watching the sea with his mate.
