Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sight for Sore Ice likes decorating himself with mana of different types, embedded in the ice all over his body. Most of it is ice mana, but there is enough mana of all different types to produce tiny flashes of color. Not only does he look distinct, the mana is useful for spell-casting. Although Sight likes this look and has the attention of a dragon that he wishes to court next season, he is cautious about enemies that may be interested in targeting him. As a measure to thwart foes, he always has a spell in place that shows him the surroundings that he cannot see with his own eyes. The bits of mana inside the icicles all over his body are used as perpetual scrying tools, so unless Sight is sleeping, he's nearly impossible to sneak up on. He can see everything happening beyond his field of vision because he has ice on the back of his head.
