Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Glinting Eye is an oddity. His father was a dark green dragon and his mother a skywing dragon, which is strange enough. Since his father spends all of his time buried under the ground, tearing creatures to pieces that come near him, and his mother spends all of her days flying through the skies singing her strange melodies. No one is sure how he came about. It is generally thought that the strange origins of his birth are somehow tied in with one of the Love-Caster's tricks, which would hardly be surprising. His is very confused and sad most of the time. Though he inherited the wings of his mother, he yearns for the depths of the earth like his father. He didn't inherit the violent tendencies of his father, but he did inherit some of the talent of singing from his mother. His voice is not as strange as his mothers. His songs are purely of sorrow, for one who is doomed to be a child of both earth and sky.
