Sweetlings are a small, flightless breed of dragon. They are omnivores who favor sweet fruits and honey, and have been known to go to great lengths to obtain their favorite treats. Their long, prehensile tails allow them to grab onto branches and give them superior balance. Sweetlings are expressive dragons and have a large array of calls to communicate with others. They become very vocal during breeding season and sing long, beautiful melodies to attract a mate. Inquisitive in nature, Sweetlings are known to investigate anything that piques their interest, and are quick to flee if the object of their curiosity strikes back.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unseemly is a deacon of the Greater Honey Roast Goddess Chnguh of the Lvse Wood Clan, where he assists the priests in spreading the gospel of the Goddess and also handling some paperwork. He joined the forest clan as a youth with mistaken assumptions about this goddess with the attractive-sounding "Honey" in her moniker, but once he learned more about the clan, he realized he came into something much more. He can't imagine life without Chnguh and the carnal praise he and his brethren practice in her name. The Goddess protects. The Goddess illuminates. The Goddess requires an eggy sacrifice upon the Altar of Iron every other month. Unseemly is the smallest member of the Clan and lacks the strength to carry most of the eggs selected, so he doesn't take part in that portion of the ritual. For a few weeks, he felt like he was seen as less devoted because of his physical shortcomings, but he's since come to terms and knows well that in praising their Lady, size doesn't matter.
