Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Shimmer-scale Dragons are a very beautiful breed with small—but highly reflective—scales that shimmer and shine as the dragon moves through water. They don’t have fins or webbed feet, but their long, eel-like bodies allow them to swim quite fast. They were once rumored to carry large pearls in their claws—causing many to seek them out in search of this fabulous treasure. In reality, the “pearl” is of greater value to the dragon, for the fabled treasure is actually an egg carried by a migrating female.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Iasc Beag certainly lives up to his name, which means 'Little Fish'. He is a male Shimmer-scale dragon who slips through the waterways of the Land of HeroHorse with such agility that a casual observer is easily reminded of the bursts of speed characteristic of a startled fish. Iasc rarely ventures onto dry land. When he does, it is usually in order to emerge from a landlocked body of water. Iasc does not live in a fixed location, as he enjoys experiencing the wide variety of rivers, lakes, streams, ponds and other waterways which can be found in the Land of HeroHorse.
Iasc Beag is quite small, for a Shimmer-scale dragon, but a force to be reckoned with nonetheless. He is quite witty and won't be bossed around by anyone. This attitude has gotten him into trouble with more powerful and influential dragons than himself. Iasc is close to Peinsag, a Copper dragon who is his mate. He has a few children, all of whom have inherited his wandering nature to some degree.
