Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cecil was blind since his birth. His mother had tried her best to find a cure but no dragon magic or herbs worked. After a while, all the White and the Magi gave up, and the clan named him 'Cecil', which means 'blind', as they thought that he would grow up into a useless dragon. It was a great mistake though.

Despite his misfortune, life blesses Cecil with strong telepathic ability and other powerful senses. He can't see colors and shapes, but he can still tell other dragons' places or emotions just by feeling their temperatures and mind forces. He can hear noises miles away and his intuition is one of the strongest in the clan. Blind as he is, Cecil is often the most sought dragon in any dragon groups. He can guide the hunters to the best food sources, the Magi to the most powerful magic stones and the White to the most valuable herbs. For Cecil, life is good only except one thing: Because of his blindness, he can't live in high caves like other Silvers for the fear of falling.
