When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mississippian Serpent is known as a common legend by those that live along the Mississippi River. He is known to swim the length of the great river and occasionally preying on boats and barges, especially from St. Louis to New Orleans. Many people have tried to go out and find the beast, but to no avail it can't be found. The reason that Mississippian Serpent cannot be discovered is because he swims deep near the bottom of the river only to surface in rural locations along the river every hour or so to breathe, then go right back down. Mississippian Serpent is usually most active at night and usually during the late Spring to early Fall. He hibernates during the Winter. It is also believed that the strong currents of the Mississippi River are due in part by Mississippian Serpent's fast swimming, which creates artificial currents in the river as he swims along it.
