Rose is one of the smartest and gentlest hens in Dragongrrrl's henhouse. She was one of three hens who did not panic after the girl's transformation from human to dragon, and flew immediately to roost on her shoulder when the Royal Crimson first appeared in the henhouse, same as she had with Grrrl's human form. While not a bold chicken, she is still a leader among the hens, and her recognition of Grrrl's new identity helped in settling the flightier members of the flock. Her age and calm, gentle wisdom has earned her the respect of all the hens, an eternal spot in Dragongrrrl's heart and always, a perch on the dragon's shoulder.
