It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Surrounded by dragons with no names, Parag is uneasy. He gets along well with most of them and even call some friends. He grew up with many of these dragons and should be happy in the peace and safety of the large group, but he can't help but hold this sickening feeling in his gut that something terrible will happen and it all can be solved if everyone just had a name. He's never even mentioned the dreams. At first, these forebodings caused worry among the group, but after a few months, most folks decided they were in no danger and urged Parag to seek help. Seeing the physician has allowed him to sleep better, and he's taken up some hobbies that lets him forget his worries, but sometimes, that awful feeling comes back and sits in his head for a while.
