Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

wBLAM the Bananagunslinger is the fastest in the Madder Jungle when it comes to shooting bananas. He can whip a banana out of a tree, open the peel, and squirt the tasty part out at a target before anyone has the chance to steal the fruit. He is feared and respected as a bringer of the law... and, some say, because he might have cooties. The threat of getting cooties is often enough that troublemakers (that is, pretty much everyone) gives him a wide berth. He and his faithful companion, Chewbananaka, are a pillar of calmness—cool, collected, and virtually immune to looking when someone says, "Your shoelace is untied." However, when nobody is paying attention the two devolve into stealing bananas from each other. When caught, everyone simply claims that it couldn't have been them, it must be look-alikes. Because everyone knows that WBLAm is too cool to be a part of the banana shenannigans that make Madder Jungle neotropicals distinct from other populations.
