Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aislingeach is a male Nocturne dragon who is extremely dreamy. Most of the time, he seems to be idly gazing into a world of his own. When he emerges from his trance, he seems to be a pleasant dragon yet, even in wakefulness, speaks in a rather abstract manner. Some dragons consider Aislingeach to be a bit strange in the head, although others say that it may simply be a side effect of spending a too much time with the Daydream dragons. Aislingeach himself does not seem to be bothered about the reason for him spending most of his time dreaming.

It cannot be denied that Aislingeach's habit of dreaming has its advantages. He is never bored, even when the sunlight falls on his hide and he is frozen in place. However, he often ends up frozen in a rather obvious location as a result of allowing his mind to wander down its dreamy routes. As for what Aislingeach dreams, it is a secret known only to himself but, judging by his joyous sleeping expressions, his dreams are assumed to be happy ones.
