Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
A longtime silphium peddler, Fruitwood knows which caves and parts of towns her flowers sell well in, though since he doesn't use them for anything himself, he doesn't really know why they're popular in certain places. The humans in frequently-visited communities don't bat an eyelid at the appearance of a gold-horned tangar walking around with sacks, spiked accessories, and a scale. Buyers can get a good deal by offering Fruitwood lots of sweet fruit, especially during colder times. He is peaceful and jovial by nature, but he's learned during many years of traveling and bartering that he has to be a bit mean and has to aggressively watch over his stock, or he'd have no stock.
