Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blue works at the Department of Nightsoil Retrieval and Management, known colloquially as the Poop Group. This is not a popular job in Tempo Caves 'n' Town, but most dragons recognize it's an essential community service. For the remaining bunch who like to jeer or make their jobs harder, Blue and a friend at the Department started a rumor about the Poop Group "knowing more than you think" and moving material into "surprise locations". So far, it seems to be working. While Blue knows two or three colleagues who would enjoy enacting petty revenge on disrespectful denizens, she herself can't bear to do such a thing. At most, she'll give them a withering glare. Her birth name is "it's in and outside- Blue", but some cranky and bullheaded clerk at the Department of Identification declared the capitalization is wrong, the dash is dumb, and there are too many words, and wrote down a truncated version. Once Blue musters up the courage, she'll go back and get her name properly recorded.
