Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sally is the first Whiptail to live in Saika's cave, and one of the oldest dragons there. She has lived her entire life calling the cave home, and is very proud of the large, diverse place it has become.

But it wasn't always this large, and for a long time Sally was the only Whiptail. She didn't mind—there were many other dragons to keep her company, after all, even if none of them could keep up with her. But because of this she thought herself the epitome of speed, and challenged anyone who seemed interested to a race.

She was swiftly disillusioned when the Lady decided to take in another Whiptail, however. She had patiently waited until this new Whiptail, Lilly, grew old enough to be a challenge, and then quickly proposed a race. And was promptly left in the dust.

She claims (loudly) that it is the age gap—if she had been as young as Lilly was, she would have won. Secretly, though, she doesn't mind—she is happy to have a sister, and doesn't begrudge Lilly her youthful vigour.
