Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When old enough, Guq ran away to join a circus. She knew there was a Fire-dragon-something-or-other Circus somewhere in the region, and while she had no clue what a circus was, it sounded more interesting and much safer than a stressful existence fighting prey, fighting with other dragons, fighting for survival. She heard that this circus in particular even had a burte who dresses as a lion. Always more interested in learning about unfamiliar animals than killing and eating them, Guq wanted to meet this burte and take notes about its species. She eventually did find a circus, and it was everything she wanted. There was no burte, to her disappointment, but there were many dragon breeds she's never seen before and more who come to see the circus acts. As part of her job, she "tames" actors dressed as different creatures, flies through a course with ramps and hoops, and occasionally accidentally sets herself on fire.
