Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vajon, like many others in his Clan, was raised by surrogates among the main caverns. As such he feels a kinship with many of the other dragons that populate the caverns, even those that aren't too friendly. He is known by many as a casual and approachable fellow; while not too into gossip, he'll happily ask anyone how their day is going, and be genuinely concerned if they're not having a good one.

He has a rather generic and flexible duty as an errand-runner, and will do various tasks for the higher ups; he may help transport scrolls or cargo, or deliver a message. His speed makes him efficient at this job, though he isn't one to boast (and in fact can get rather bashful when complimented). When it comes to decision making he's not stupid but he's not too bright either, and he finds it best to leave important duties to someone more qualified.
