Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Much to her dismay, Strifa's safety has become her father Tesky's number one priority. Though normally fairly detached, ever since Strifa's half sister was killed by Creorluna, though, he's put a special emphasis on protecting his remaining daughter, by means of shadowing her. Every. Saying Strifa's not exactly happy with this whole arrangement is like saying rain is wet. Both obvious and an understatement.

She values her independence, getting her spitfire persona from her mother. It might not be so bad if he actually talked, but Tesky just looms in the background, silent. No privacy. Not ever.

Truth be told, part of her is somewhat happy with the arrangement though she would never admit it. Picture growing up with a father so numb to emotion he won't even get angry when you are being a smart aleck. That was Strifa's childhood. She just wanted him to care, to say or do something. She got her wish. And now she wants to take it back.
