Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Located high up a remote mountain and guarded by frostbite and ice dragons, the Snowball Assembly is only stumbled across by the desperately lost or the not-yet-desperate-but-soon-to-be-desperately lost. Even if the resident solstice takes pity on a lost traveler, they must still prove their worth to the Counsel of Winter (a group of cold-loving attorneys). Anyone allowed to stay will become an expert in all forms of magic related to cold or winter.

One of the youngest practicing dragons, Tinsnow spends her free time working terrible puns into her speech, usually featuring words like "ice" and "snow". Some dragons wish they could muzzle her mind, though the Senior Managing Partner in the Counsel has figured out that if she gives Tinsnow a lot of tasks that involve remembering figures and the like, she won't have that free time to concoct bad wordplay. She likes doing chores and helping her community, so it's snow problem.
