Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bradt is a busy mind and fast talker. His thoughts were incomprehensible to others, so they insisted he learn language and learn to speak. His speech is still as fast as hurricane winds and his speeches a challenge for translators and scribes, but that's certainly an improvement. He researched regional history and delivered sermons in the Fire-Fireproof House before its destruction in the Third-Half Quake, and now, as rebuilding is occurring all around the network, Bradt's job is to deliver messages by wing. He wanted to help with construction, but his flames were too much of a hazard around all the dust, debris, wood, and paper. Messenger is a pretty good job, and he can remember everything he's told, but some dragons are petitioning the network leaders to assign something else because they can't keep up with how fast he talks.
