Motus Cantormaris Dragons are a calm, down to earth breed of coastal-dwellers. Their annual migrations at the start of spring are among the first indications that winter has ended. They use their robust calls to lure people with a love of nature and desire for freedom to them in a hope to work with others for the benefit of the living world around them. It is considered a sign of luck for one to hear their calls.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blossom lives in a system of caves, treehouses, and wood-and-brick houses where denizens have nearly perfected all processes related to basic resource gathering, so food and other always-needed items are plentiful. She doesn't actually have a unit of her own, though, since she travels so much. She contributes in ways that are hard to quantify but nevertheless puts her in good standing with leadership, and many dragons are visibly excited to see her swooping in, back from wherever she went. She's very talkative and can cram a lot of thoughts into sentences without stumbling over any words or uttering a lot of "eh"s and "um"s. No tongue-twister can twist her tongue.
