Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dorky Door Key AKA DDK is a huge sucker for confusing riddles and strange word phrasing. She's a bookworm with an obvious affinity for writing poetry for everyone else to read. Her complex word choices give others a hard time with unscrambling her confusing sentences, and she enjoys it when they struggle to think harder. Her nerdiness often chases away others which leaves her to stay alone and study on her own, but she doesn't mind. DDK would much rather stay inside the comfort of her cave than be mocked by dragons who don't matter to her. DDK is very loving and enjoys feeding on birds, especially ravens and crows. Her energetic and spunky attitude can get her in some trouble sometimes, but her quick wits can easily outsmart her opponents. DDK is sneaky yet well aware of how powerful she can be, but is humble about her advantages. Although she resides in her cave most of the time, she occasionally visits the outdoors to see her friends and spend some time soaring the stormy skies.
