Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vine is one of the loafers of the clan. While she is smaller than most black dragons, when there is work to be done, she will hide. Skirting duty or training is second nature to her and spends a great deal of energy trying to aviod it rather than just doing what needs to be done in the first place. When playtime comes, she is sleeping. <br/>Sometimes she will even go a few days without food because it is too much work to her to go hunt for it! Often other dragons or a trainer will have to bring her food to give her the energy to stand up after one of these dangerous fastings.
